AAS Historical Periodicals include digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals not available from any other source and provide rich content detailing American history and culture from periodicals published between 1684 and 1912.

Covers all types of U.S. government documents, including Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.). Includes a bibliographic citation in each record. Covers 1976 to present.

This collection contains numerous full-text titles on African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies, folklore, the history and study of art and architecture, text of state historical journals, and interdisciplinary titles. It also contains an eclectic range of disciplines in the arts, humanities, and social sciences complements research in core disciplines such as history.
