Textbook Rentals through eCampus

Working in partnership with eCampus, the Library provides textbooks each semester to all undergraduate students. These textbooks are rentals and students will need to return them to the Library at the end of each semester.

Frequently asked questions

  • How do I know when my textbooks are here? 

    • You will receive an email to either your student account or your personal email confirming that your textbook box has been received at the Library and is ready for pick up.  

  • Where do I pick up my textbooks? 

    • You can pick up your textbooks in the Grand Hall of the Logan Library. Make sure you bring your student I.D.  

  • Can someone pick up my textbooks for me?  

    • No, you will need to pick up your own textbooks.   

  • Do I need to return my books at the end of the semester? 

    • Yes, otherwise your account will be charged for the textbooks. 

  • How do I return textbooks? 

    • Bring your textbooks back to Logan Library and a Library Assistant will check your books in as returned.

Access textbooks on Canvas 

  1. Select your course in Canvas 
  2. Select Modules. Scroll to find the module “eTextbook” 
  3. Click the eTextbook from VitalSource link 
  4. Click Load eTextbook from VitalSource in new window

Access textbooks on Digital Bookshelf 

  1. Go to 
  2. Log in to your account using the following: 

UN: Schreiner email 

PW: Your Schreiner ID (temporary until you change it)
