Materials in these collections are non-circulating and include:

• books published before 1875 and those that are rare for reasons other than date
• libraries and family papers donated by individuals
• manuscripts, maps, blueprints, and newspapers
• items documenting the history of Schreiner University and the Texas Hill Country
