Only currently enrolled Schreiner students and employees are authorized to use our
subscription resources/databases from off campus. All others should check with their local public libraries to obtain logins for the TexShare Databases or Library of Texas Programs.

Our system automatically detects whether users are "on campus" or "off campus" when accessing one of the subscription databases linked to the library's website.

• If you are off campus or using a wireless laptop and click on a link to a subscription resource, the system will prompt you to enter your Schreiner username and e-mail password. NOTE: Your browser software must have cookies and javascript enabled.
• If you are on campus and not working wireless, you will not be prompted to login when using library resources.
• It's that easy! Just go to the library website to access the resources you want from wherever - the system takes care of the rest.
• If you need help, please ask a librarian for help or call the library reference desk for assistance (830) 792-7319.

• In Netscape, this feature is located under Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security.
• In Microsoft Internet Explorer, it is located under Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Settings > select Medium or High.
• If you are using a browser other than these, please check your browser's "HELP" for instructions.
• If you have configured your browser not to accept any cookies, you must change your configuration to accept the cookie from our server. The cookie does not record any personal information about you.

• In Microsoft Internet Explorer, it is located under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.
• If you are using a browser other than these, please check your browser's "HELP" for instructions.
• If you currently have them disabled, you must change your configuration before you can connect to any subscription databases.
