About the Book

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption is the story of Louie Zamperini, a juvenile delinquent who, after running in the Berlin Olympics, was drafted into the army.  After his plane went down in the Pacific Ocean, he spent three years in a Japanese POW camp.  He endured terrible suffering and struggled for years trying to deal with his experiences.  He eventually found his own sense of peace.
